The Face of Scenic City Speech

Jennifer D. Vitrano, MA CCC owner and founder of Scenic City Speech and Learning, holds a master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology and is nationally certified through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Jennifer has over 30 years of experience meeting the needs of children and adults with speech, language and learning differences. In addition to speech and language disorders, she has specialized in the treatment of students with learning disabilities, dyslexia and auditory processing disorders. 

Jennifer began her career in a thriving private practice in the Washington DC metropolitan area. She started her own private practice in California and has worked in the California and Tennessee school systems. Jennifer holds state licenses in California, Georgia and Tennessee, and has an extensive background working with children from two years of age through high school. She has always been an advocate for children and families, diligently working to acquire the services that children deserve. She is trained in the Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes- LiPS- Lindamood phoneme sequencing program for reading, spelling and speech and Visualizing Verbalizing-language comprehension and thinking. Jennifer has attended multiple trainings in the area of Social Thinking -self-regulation for social emotional problem solving and executive functions.

Fun facts: Jennifer goes by “Ginger,” has two daughters, Alle and Amy, two doggies, Bailey and Quinnie, loves to plant flowers, travel, and spend time with family and friends.
